Artificial Intelligence Lesson 6 of 8

Day 5: Add Voiceover, Music, and Sound

35:00 7 Days of AI Video Generation

The video for this lesson is not available yet.

Plan narration and sound that support your story, then review timing, clarity, and usage rights.

Lesson notes

Sound influences how a video feels and how clearly its message comes across. Keep narration understandable, use music to support rather than overpower the story, and only use audio assets that you have permission to use.

What you'll learn

  • Adapt the script for natural spoken delivery
  • Choose voiceover and audio that match the video's tone
  • Balance narration, music, and effects so the message stays clear

Prepare a voiceover

Read the narration aloud, simplify awkward phrases, and leave room for pauses. If using a synthetic voice, review the tool's permissions, check pronunciation, and listen to the complete generated take before using it.

Choose and balance audio

Select music and sound effects that fit the pacing and tone. Lower music beneath speech, avoid distracting effects, and confirm the audio licence permits your intended use.

Practice exercise

Create an audio plan

Mark where narration, music, silence, and any sound effects belong in your storyboard. Record the source and permitted use of each planned audio asset.

Hint: If removing a sound does not reduce clarity or emotion, consider leaving it out.
