Artificial Intelligence Lesson 7 of 8

Day 6: Edit, Pace, and Polish Your Video

45:00 7 Days of AI Video Generation

The video for this lesson is not available yet.

Assemble your best clips, refine scene timing and transitions, and add readable captions and on-screen text.

Lesson notes

Editing is where generated assets become a coherent story. Start with the clearest available clips, trim them to the useful action, and arrange scenes so that each one follows naturally from the previous one.

What you'll learn

  • Arrange clips to match the story and storyboard
  • Improve pacing with deliberate trims and simple transitions
  • Add captions and text that remain readable on mobile screens

Build a clean sequence

Place scenes in story order, remove empty or repetitive moments, and use simple cuts or transitions. Check that narration and visuals stay aligned from beginning to end.

Design for small screens

Use short captions, strong contrast, and enough space around text. Preview the video at a phone-sized scale and check that important text is not obscured by platform controls.

Practice exercise

Create a first edit

Arrange your selected clips and audio into a complete first cut. Watch it from beginning to end and list three specific improvements.

Hint: Review the edit once for story, once for audio, and once at mobile size instead of trying to fix everything at once.
